The technology giant is accepting applications for tickets starting today to February 27, 5PM Pacific Time (06:30AM IST). After that, the company will choose the applicants on February 28. The academic ticket is only valid for a full-time student studying in high school, college, professor, faculty or staff member. General admission ticket, on the other hand, is valid for everyone else. Google I/O is the event where the company unveils new technologies and talks about the new updates of its old apps and services. In Google I/O 2019, the company will be unveiling the next generation Android OS platform – Android Q. There is not much known about what the newest iteration of Android will bring aside from few reports which talks about a system-wide dark mode. There is little chance that the company will launch Google Pixel 4 as of yet, as the company unveils its hardware in October. But there are reports that two new budget-oriented mid-range smartphones named Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite might be launched at the upcoming Google I/O. These phones will be exactly what their names suggests – a ‘liter’ version of the 2018 flagships smartphones. There is also news floating around online that Google has been working on a new device called ‘Google Coral’ which might be a tablet of sorts. It has been seen at a few benchmark websites, and reports suggest that the device is powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC and it will run Android Q.
