According to a report by NokiaPowerUser, Nokia 6.1 Plus with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage will be launched in India with a price tag of Rs 17,499. Nokia 5.1 Plus, on the other hand, will be launching in two different variants – one with 4GB RAM with 64GB storage that will be priced at Rs 12,499 and the other with 6GB RAM with 64GB storage which will be priced at Rs 13,999. The current Nokia 5.1 Plus selling in the Indian market comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and is priced at Rs 10,999 but on Flipkart it is retailing for Rs 9,999. Other than Flipkart, the smartphone can also be bought via Nokia’s official website.
Nokia 5.1 Plus has a 5.86-inch HD+ display with a notch, is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 processor and houses a 3,060mAh battery. It has a dual rear camera setup with 13MP and 5MP sensors and for selfies and video calls, there is an 8MP selfie camera on it. It also has a USB Type-C port which is a surprise at this price point. Nokia 6.1 Plus features a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display with a notch and is powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC. Like Nokia 5.1 Plus, the device has a 3,060mAh battery and it too has a dual rear camera setup which comprises of a 16MP paired with a 5MP sensor. On the front panel, there is a 16MP selfie camera. Earlier, the device was launched with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and was priced at Rs 15,999 in India. And at this price range it competes with the likes of Redmi Note 5 Pro, Note 6 and the Asus Zenfone Max M1/M2 Pro.
