OnePlus has mentioned on its official forum that the new update gets the November Android security patch with itself and includes some general bug fixes and enhancements that would upgrade the overall performance of the two devices. The new software version is being rolled out as an incremental over-the-air update. OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T mobile users would also be happy to know that one they get the update; they would also be able to use OnePlus Type-C Bullets Earphones. Initially, the headphones could only be used with recent smartphones by the company including the OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6 (review). The OnePlus Type-C Bullets Earphones were launched ahead of the OnePlus 6T (review) last month. Unlike the original OnePlus Bullets headphones that come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, the new ones have a USB Type-C interface, as suggested by their name. The company claims that the OxygenOS 5.0.7 update also enhances the safety of the devices with the November Android security. The security patch was first rolled out to Google’s Pixel and Nexus devices earlier this month.
