Restore Sticky Notes to a Previous Version
Restoring Sticky Notes to an older version can recover any recent files you may have deleted. There are a couple of ways of restoring an older version. The easiest way is to right-click on the Sticky Notes icon and go to the Properties window. Once you’re there, click on the ‘Previous Versions’ and select the version you want. Your deleted files will reappear once you’ve applies the changes.
Use Data Recovery Software
If the two methods mentioned above do not work, you may have to use data recovery software to restore your lost Sticky Notes. A data recovery software performs a deep scan of your hard drive and looks for deleted files that your OS cannot see. Once the scan is completed, it gives you the option to restore the deleted files. Disk Drill is one such data recovery software that you can employ to recover Sticky Notes. Once you’ve downloaded Disk Drill, open it and search the drive that contains Sticky Notes for lost data. Once the scan is complete, review the lost items and search for plum.sqlite. This is the file within which Sticky Notes stores its data. Once the file is restored you will recover all lost notes.
