And now, Xiaomi has starting rolling out its final version. POCO F1 was till now on MIUI 9.6 and after this update will move to MIUI 10 that comes with an upgraded user interface. However, it is worth noticing that this update is based on Android Oreo and Xiaomi says that it is still testing it with Android 9.0 Pie in a closed group. The MIUI 10 update for Xiaomi POCO F1 comes with the October security patch and is 592MB in size. According to Xiaomi, the update gets a ‘natural sound system’ and ‘all-new full-screen gestures’ to the smartphone. The full screen gestures the company has spoken about will remove the need of having software navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen. Users will also be able to make YouTube videos fill the entire screen including the space around the smartphone’s notch with the pinch-to-zoom gesture. Apart from this, Xiaomi POCO F1 will get a redesigned notification panel, enhanced multi-tasking capabilities, and revamped sliders to adjust the volume. To recall, Xiaomi POCO F1 features a 6.18-inch display and comes with protection of 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor that is paired with LiquidCool Technology, the smartphone comes with in 6GB and 8GB RAM options. The smartphone comes in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options. For imaging duties, there is a dual rear camera setup that comes with a 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor with 1.4-micron pixel, dual pixel autofocus and a 5MP depth sensor from Samsung. There is also a 20MP camera that comes with HDR and AI Beautify features and supports Face Unlock. The smartphone houses a 4,000mAh battery which has support for 18W charging. For connectivity, Xiaomi POCO F1 offers 4G+, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack. Xiaomi POCO F1 can be bought in India at a starting price of Rs 20,999.
